Controlled Speed appoints
sales manager to drive growth

Controlled Speed Engineering (CSE), a UK-based contract electronics manufacturer, has appointed Wayne Derbyshire as sales manager.

Derbyshire has 17 years' experience in the electronics industry. He joins CSE from electronics distributor Switchtec, where he was Northern area sales manager.

As well as winning new business, Derbyshire will also act as the key point of contact for existing customers, helping them to get the best from CSE's extensive manufacturing and design services, and to resolve any issues that may arise.

"Wayne's extensive experience will enable us to expand our contract manufacturing business, and we're forecasting significant growth over the coming months," said Phil Burns, managing director at CSE. "By implementing more sophisticated customer management systems, Wayne will also be able to help us improve the service we offer existing customers."

Being based in the Midlands rather than at CSE's Yorkshire offices, Derbyshire's appointment means that CSE can improve its responsiveness to customers in the Midlands and beyond.
